After testing a lot of different papers like traditional papers lokta and mitsumata (Edgeworthia chrysantha), Cotton fibers, flax, hemp, abaca, alone or in combination or raw material of the Daphne papyracea and Daphne bholua basically known both with the Nepali name Loktaor or Lokata and of course I tried Japanese papers which are traditionally made only of three fibers, Kozo, Gampi and Mitsumata, which are long and thin and can form very thin papers while resistant… of course I wanted my own watermark embedded in the sheets of paper. Well for those who don’t know it´s not a printed watermark they are basically transferred from a embossing to the pulp (paper) fibres, a watermark is very useful in the examination of paper because it can be used for dating, identifying sizes, mill trademarks and locations, and determining the quality of a sheet of paper. The contra is that the minimum order of customized paper round at five tons… well I could make the book a little bigger…
