Logo & Graphic Design | Some clients require dozens of iterations to their logo, some take hours some weeks, most are done by hand, all are built from creativity and although that old-style approach to modern day industries seems to rule the typical small/medium business branch in these days trying to be “authentic”. But Ah, how to be authentic. Authenticity is one of those qualities that has become so desirable, so sought after, that it has been reduced — just like generosity and gratitude — to a meaningless cliché. And yet everything we teach, from storytelling to approaching to confronting limiting beliefs, seems to come back to the core concept of being who you are, which might just be the most difficult skill you can master. Authenticity is as elusive as it is powerful, but so many people are still baffled by the notion of how to be authentic.
If you’re trying to be authentic, you’re not being authentic. So how can we possibly learn to become more authentic?
In the end no matter the arguments, cost or amount of work it takes to elaborate a good Logo – everyone walks away satisfied because to me it’s the story that is told, the integrity that’s held up and appreciated. It’s not about the money or backing down from difficulty – just getting the job right.
This isn’t even half the amount of iterations that went into this project.
Simple is Beautiful.
Some things never change and simplicity is one amongst them. Industry experts have long been saying that logos with simple designs work best when it comes to branding a business. Logos with complex and intricate designs are the ones that are difficult to carry off. And that’s why I’m sure to see simpler logo designs coming to the fore.
